Club Champs Opening Day Schedule

Get ready for the Opening Day of Gladstone Tennis Club's 2024 Club Champs THIS SUNDAY 10 March from 9am-5pm!

The weather is looking perfect for a full day of friendly competition with a delicious sausage sizzle (gold coin donation) and ice-cold beverages on hand to keep the spectators fed and watered throughout.

Morning match play is all about our Singles draws, beginning with Men's B Singles at 9am; then the afternoon heats up with the Men's, Ladies' and Mixed Doubles pairings taking to the courts. 

Players: please check the Schedule of Play to ensure you are on court on time.

Junior draws to be published soon with play scheduled to begin the week of 11 March. All draws will be updated with results throughout the competition and posted on the noticeboard in the Clubhouse.

OPENING DAY SCHEDULE 

• FORMAT: FIRST TO 9, REGULAR SCORING; 10 PT TIE BREAK AT 8-8.

• 2 NEW BALLS PROVIDED PER MATCH.

• COURT 5 RESERVED FOR WARM UP (ENTER VIA THE GLADSTONE ROAD GATE)

• AFTERNOON MATCHES TO START FROM 2PM, UNLESS MUTUALLY AGREED UPON BY ALL PLAYERS AND SUBJECT TO COURT AVAILABILITY.
