Minutes to the Special General Meeting held at the Gladstone Clubhouse at 7pm on the 19th Nov 2025
1. Quorum for the meeting was confirmed with 17 voting members in attendance – see attendance record below.
2. Resolution 1: “That the current constitution dated 5 September 2023 be revoked and replaced with the new constitution, which was made available to members prior to this meeting, effective from 1 December 2025.”, was
a. proposed by Antony Bowyer
b. seconded by Oliver Harmer
c. carried unanimously with no objections or abstentions.
3. Resolution 2: “That the Committee is authorised to make amendments to the constitution without further approval from the members, provided that the Committee determines such amendments are not material in nature. Any such amendments must be notified to all members as soon as practicable after the change is made.”, was

b. seconded by Oliver Harmer
c. carried unanimously with no objections or abstentions.
4. Resolution 3: “That Sean McCready be elected as President of Gladstone Tennis Club Incorporated, effective 1 December 2025, for a term in accordance with the Club’s constitution.”, was

b. seconded by Mar Helen Kelt
c. carried unanimously with no objections or abstentions.
5. Resolution 4: “That the following individuals be confirmed as Committee Members of Gladstone Tennis Club Incorporated, in the roles specified below, effective 1 December 2025, for terms in accordance with the Club’s Constitution:

· Secretary: Craig Page
· Club Captain: MH Kelt
