End of 2025 Highlights
We're pleased to report that after many weather delays, the courts were fully groomed and freshened up on 12 December. Plans are afoot for a full resurfacing at the end of 2026 and, to this end, we will be sharing several fundraising initiatives with you in the coming months.
Â
In Interclub news, big ups to the Ladies Midweek teams that rocked their Lead In competition, with Lisa Roberts' Monday and Larissa Richwhite's Tuesday Open 3 Teams both topping their tables for the season. For the Juniors, the Boys 12s Sunday team (Doole/Franklin/Williamson) dominated their draw with a massive lead over the 2nd-place (and always formidable) Campbell Park.Â
Meanwhile, at the turn of the Senior Summer Interclub season, the Mixed Four 1 team remains undefeated, while the CBR Men's team is currently sitting 2nd place on the table after a thrilling countback win over the young guns of 3rd-placed Howick.

Â
2. Let's Keep the Clubhouse Secure and Tidy
Â
If you're last out, please remember to lock up all windows and doors, both downstairs and upstairs, and turn off the lights indoors and out.
Â
And while we love the family-friendly vibe of our club, parents make sure that your kids are respecting their space by cleaning up after themselves (candy wrappers, food debris go into the bin), and using the ping pong table equipment with care (we're discovering lots of broken rackets, balls and stripped net).Â
Â
3. Lost & Found
Â
The bins are looking full and there are many unclaimed water bottles by the downstairs kitchen sink. We will aim to clear out and donate the contents in the beginning of Term 1, so please come to collect as soon as possible.
Â
Wishing everyone an enjoyable rest of the summer break and look forward to seeing you back on court soon!
